One of my favorite gardens in England, Cliveden (Taplow, Buckinghamshire) not only for its huge size and different parts it contents but for its outstanding importance in the close garden design background. What Cliveden garden represents is a historical landmark in late XIXth century and early XXth century style. And also represents, perhaps, the end of an era, the last sample of a wealthy social class avid of a stage, a scenography elegant and overwhelming enough for their social activities. From a tecnic point of view there is nothing more pleasant than a quiet walk through its wonderful gardens. Thanks to the National Trust is now possible to enjoy this magnificent space.
