Rubió i Tudurí was a Head Gardener at the Municipality of Barcelona in early XXth century. He met JCN Forestier and became one of his most relevant disciples in Spain. He wrote the book 'Del Paraíso al Jardín Latino' (From Paradise to Latino Garden), an essay that linked pristine senses of garden for human being with best examples of roman and other mediterranean ancient cultures. Rubió made a number of private gardens, most of them in catalonian coastline. In the images we bring today you can see a lovely mediterranean garden by Rubió i Tudurí in Rosas Cape area, Costa Brava, full of valuable components like vistas (views), paving, steps and paths, classic statuary and benches, pergolas and a rich planting, that includes mediterranean cipres, hydrangeas (!), agapanthus, myrtle, begonia and many others.
